What Mona wanted me to do was to learn how to control my breathing and to use it to help me get more out of my golf shots, whether it was driving, chipping or putting. Breathing, along with learning exercises to make my body suppler, certainly helped my golf.  My handicap has reduced by three shots since I did  sport specific Yoga with Mona. Another benefit of my classes with Mona was the improvement of my bad back, which I have suffered from, for a long time. Yoga for golfers

Golf is unique in the world of sport. The physical preparation necessary involves the whole body from the tip of the toes to the top of the head, Every part of the body is involved.

A good golfer needs strength and flexibility, good balance, good posture, good core stability and good functional mobility. To be a top golfer you also need to be able to relax and have a very focussed mind set. For every shot to count you need to have the ability to bring yourself calmly into the present moment.

Group Classes

We see learning Sport Specific Yoga as yoga training. We offer group training sessions which will introduce you to the concepts of yoga and the foundation exercises.

Sport specific yoga training on a 1-2-1 basis

The benefits of theses sessions is that we can work with you on a more specific structured way tailoring the session to you specifically rather being more general as in a group session. You obviously will have individual attention and a programme designed for your needs.

Many people suffer from various conditions which can interfere with their game. These range from backache to tight ham strings, asthma to neck tension.
